Step 1 – Domain Name

  • A domain is your website’s address (example.com).

  • You register it with a domain registrar. like {space9x.com}

Step 2 – Web Hosting

  • Hosting is where your website’s files live.

  • Think of it like renting space on a server.

Step 3 – Name Servers

  • Domains need name servers to point to hosting.

  • Example: ns1.yourhost.com, ns2.yourhost.com.

Step 4 – DNS (Domain Name System)

  • DNS connects your domain to your hosting server’s IP.

  • Converts a human-friendly domain into a machine IP.

Step 5 – IP Address

  • Your hosting has an IP like 192.168.1.1.

  • Name servers and DNS records link the domain to this IP.

Step 6 – cPanel

  • cPanel is the control panel for managing hosting.

  • You can upload files, create emails, databases, etc.

Step 7 – Connecting Everything

  1. Buy a domain.

  2. Buy hosting.

  3. Point the domain to the hosting name servers.

  4. Hosting resolves to the server IP.

  5. Manage website via cPanel.
